The resort describes the trip from San José del Cabo (SJD) as a 20-mile scenic drive, and in real terms you should plan on roughly 40 to 55 minutes via the toll roads, depending on traffic. It is a relaxed run down the coast in an air-conditioned vehicle — and if you are here for the golf, there is plenty of room for your clubs. Quivira Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 Jack Nicklaus Signature course that opened in 2014, known for having more oceanfront holes than any other course in Los Cabos, with fairways perched on cliffs that rise as high as about 200 feet above the surf.
