It includes door-to-door delivery to your La Paz hotel, two suitcases per person (up to 50 lb each) plus a carry-on, one complimentary cold beer or water, and bilingual drivers. Bikes, surfboards, small caged pets and car seats can be accommodated with pre-approval.
Departures run hourly from SJD between 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., with returns from La Paz between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
Basic Shared Shuttle: The Budget Option
The basic shared shuttle is the cheapest SJD Taxi option. The trade-offs are real: it drops passengers at the Malecón bus station rather than your hotel, luggage is limited to one standard suitcase (25 kg) and one personal bag (10 kg), oversized items and surfboards are not accepted, there are no complimentary drinks or grocery stops, and child car seats are not permitted — every child needs their own paid seat. Expect a 20–60 minute wait at the airport while passengers are grouped, plus 2–4 stops en route.
Public Bus
Autobuses Águila and Ecobaja run scheduled coaches between the Los Cabos area and La Paz’s main terminal for roughly $34 USD. Most services include air conditioning and some have Wi-Fi. Buses run terminal to terminal, so budget for a taxi at each end.
Finding Your Ride at SJD Airport
Pickup points at Los Cabos International Airport:
- Terminal 1 (domestic): after customs, exit through the left-hand doors, walk past the timeshare booths and through the next set of sliding doors. Our office is on the right, just before Subway.
- Terminal 2 (international): after customs and the timeshare area, exit the building, cross to the covered waiting area and look for our representative under Umbrella #5 holding a sign with your name.

Booking and Cancellation
Book online and you will receive a confirmation email within 5–10 minutes containing your pickup instructions, voucher number and driver contact. Same-day bookings are subject to vehicle availability. We recommend reserving at least 72 hours ahead, and up to two weeks ahead in peak season.
Cancellations: full refund less a $5 processing fee for cancellations made at least 72 hours before departure. Inside 72 hours, bookings are non-refundable. Missed flights or missed shuttles require a new ticket.
Travelling the Other Way: La Paz to Cabo San Lucas
The return journey works the same way in reverse. Platinum and private services collect you from your La Paz hotel; basic shared and public bus services depart from the Malecón bus terminal. Morning departures from La Paz run between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., which lines up with most afternoon departures out of SJD. If you are connecting to a flight, allow three hours between your La Paz pickup and your check-in time.

There are two routes. Highway 19 follows the Pacific coast through Todos Santos, a Pueblo Mágico known for art galleries and the famous Hotel California. Just south, El Pescadero offers organic farms and roadside produce stands, and Cerritos Beach has one of Baja’s most consistent surf breaks.
