You’ll find everything from scenic harbour tours and historic plantations to hidden culinary gems in its iconic neighbourhoods.
Barcelona – Spain
Barcelona is perfect for travelers who want a mix of beach and city. You can spend the day at the coast, explore Gaudí’s architecture, or enjoy tapas in the Gothic Quarter. The city is also a central cruise hub, making it a wise choice if you want to explore multiple destinations.

London never disappoints. From iconic landmarks like Big Ben and Tower Bridge to world-class museums (many of them free), it’s a city that offers something year-round.
It ticks most boxes, from award-winning restaurants to historic sites and plenty of things to do – you must visit the theatre when travelling to London. You can see all year round, as even when it’s raining, you can find many indoor activities like visiting the free museums! If you are going to travel in the summer, there are several infinity pools in London, where you can enjoy a swim, then a cocktail (or two) as you sunbathe.
Theater fans should catch a West End show, and summer visitors can enjoy rooftop pools and trendy cocktail bars.
Kotor – Montenegro
Tucked between dramatic mountains and the Adriatic Sea, Kotor is one of Europe’s hidden gems. Its medieval old town is stunning. It’s also a great spot for weddings or romantic trips. From Kotor, you can easily drive to Dubrovnik, Croatia, or plan a Balkan road trip.
Kotor is an area we would recommend, as it has a wonderful old town that you can explore, and dramatic mountains surround it—the scenery is stunning! (Perfect for weddings). When staying in Montenegro, Croatia is only a short drive away. You can visit Dubrovnik for the day or go on a road trip and see other places. If you go on a road trip, plan things, as this will reduce the stress of travelling.
Quebec – Canada
Quebec blends old-world charm with modern attractions. The city is mostly French-speaking, but English is widely understood. You’ll find beautiful spas, vineyards, and historic neighborhoods. Top stops include Montcalm, Ottawa, and Montreal, making it a trip full of culture and natural beauty.

When staying in Bergen, you’ll enjoy an array of cafes, restaurants, bars, and hikes, which you can enjoy when going further out of Bergen.
Queensland – Australia
A dream trip for many, Queensland is worth the long flight. Adventure-seekers can skydive over Mission Beach, explore the Great Barrier Reef, or cycle along coastal trails. Australia may seem like a dream, due to the long flight to get there – don’t let this put you off. Australia is such an impressive country, and it should be on your bucket list of places to visit. Situated along the stunning French Riviera, you can spend a few days here or longer. You can also explore other towns nearby. Monaco is only a short drive away, and it counts as another country.
