Must-Visit Attractions

Now that you know the best places to stay, let’s take a look at some activities you must add to your itinerary when you go to San Jose del Cabo.

Flora Farms Cabo Transportation.

Flora Farms

Are you a fan of farm-to-table dining? Then you’re going to love Flora Farms. Apart from delicious and nutritious meals, you’ll also find plenty of charming artisanal shops and immersive agricultural experiences here.

Surrounded by lush greenery, Flora Farms is a delightful escape into the heart of nature where you can indulge in fresh, organic produce harvested right on the premises. The farm also hosts a range of engaging activities, including hands-on cooking classes where you can learn how to prepare dishes using farm-fresh ingredients.

The property is truly amazing and the time to walk, explore, and take in the beauty created is well worth the visit alone. Serenity is the desert, some would say.

Acre Cabo Transportation.

Acre

Acre is an absolute must-visit eco-retreat and culinary hotspot and is widely known for its innovative cuisine. Much like other local restaurants here, you’ll get a unique dining experience set in an enchanting treehouse (perfect for holiday snapshots!) where you can, much like Flora Farms, enjoy farm-to-table meals coupled with Mezcal tastings.

These tastings allow you to sample some really incredible artisanal spirits, and you can always follow them up with a slow nature walk to explore the surrounding greenery.

Known to be a top Wedding and event location and frequented by international celebrities, Acre Los Cabos has an atmosphere that is chic and modern. One of the most unique features on the property is the villa treehouses with all the amenities you’d imagine. Realy luxury tree houses to take in a different aspect of Los Cabos!

With its blend of rustic charm and contemporary sophistication, you won’t find an experience like this anywhere else in San José del Cabo.

Hidden gems in San José

Two of our favorite hidden gems near San José del Cabo are Unicorn Beach and Los Zacatitos. Unicorn Beach, tucked away along the coastline, has pristine white sand and turquoise waters that are perfect if you’re a beach bum looking for somewhere amazing to enjoy the sun in the area.

On the other hand, Los Zacatitos is a stand-out beach – but not for the reason you’d think! Instead, it’s the ideal location for hiking trails and panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and sea. So, if you want to find somewhere off the beaten path, you’re going to love San Jose del Cabo. Just remember to pack all of your gear if you’re planning on going out on a hike and do not forget ample hydration, sunscreen, or mosquito repellant.

FAQs

What is the best time of year to visit San José del Cabo?

San José del Cabo is absolutely stunning all year around, but the best time to head over on a Mexican holiday is – surprisingly – the winter months of December to February. With comfortably dry and warm weather, there are plenty of things to see and do during this time – including whale-watching tours that are out of this world!

Just remember that these months are usually considered peak tourist season, which means that accommodation prices may be slightly higher and you may have to deal with crowds at popular beaches and tourist attractions.

Are there any travel safety tips I should know before visiting San José del Cabo?

Although San José del Cavo is considered a relatively safe area for tourists, there are still a few general safety tips that you should keep in mind. In fact, these tips are applicable no matter where you’re traveling. They include:

  • Always keep your belongings secure and avoid walking around with your phone, camera, or wallet in your hand.
  • Don’t explore quiet, dimly lit, or unfamiliar areas at night, especially if you’re by yourself.
  • If you’re going out at night, opt for a private taxi service rather than walking.
  • Always let someone know where you’re going when you’re traveling solo.
  • If you’re here on a girls’ trip, stay vigilant with any alcohol you consume.
